Looking back on our journey, every completed custom project tells a precious story of mutual commitment. This case sharing features our joint project with Giant Tech: the IP-licensed blind-box vending machine for Jay Chou’s animated character “Zhou Tongxue”.
Giant Tech holds the official IP rights for the top-tier celebrity Jay Chou’s animated avatar “Zhou Tongxue” and developed exclusive self-service blind-box vending terminals. Yinyin Technology secured this cooperation opportunity. From prototype polishing, overall appearance design to custom body color schemes, we delivered personalized R&D and customization strictly in line with Giant Tech’s brand requirements for every detail.
Drawing on years of R&D experience in unmanned devices, we proactively reviewed historical operational pain points of similar equipment. Multiple detailed optimizations and upgrades were carried out for modules including operational stability and product-dispensing mechanisms, lowering potential operational failures from the source to adapt to long-term offline deployment for trendy toy blind-box scenarios.
The project advanced steadily throughout the one-year cooperation period. After repeated prototype debugging and small-batch trial-production verification, it has now entered the phase of large-scale mass cooperation. Batches of “Zhou Tongxue” blind-box vending machines have been deployed across major Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Xi’an, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Fuzhou, Qingdao and Inner Mongolia. Deployment scenarios cover airports, high-speed railway stations, metro stations, mainstream commercial districts and well-known scenic spots.
Countless late-night debugging sessions, on-site implementation challenges, as well as repeated solution discussions and coordinated roll-out efforts with the client have become precious memories of this partnership.
